Just a reminder that next week is short - only Monday and Tuesday will be school days.
We have been very busy learning about Thanksgiving. Our 3-Day class had their feast today and it was grand! Thanks to all of the parents who donated.
The children will be bringing home placemats that they made and used during the Feast. Please continue to use them -- they help teach the children a basic table setting. This is a great "job" to give your child - with the help of the placemat, s/he should be able to set his/her own place at the table.
Book orders are due next week as well, so please place your order if you are interested.
December is going to go very quickly. In the next couple of weeks we will learn about our earth, and that its main components are air, land and water. We will then learn about Hanukkah and Christmas. With our holiday study, we do not go into the theology behind the traditions - we just talk about family traditions.
